Phoenix Obsidian Designs established a Trading Post in Grass Valley in November, 2007. It is located in the Hughes Center, across the street from the movie theater. This location provides a workspace for Dr. Susan "Arizona" Gleason to make her arrowheads and other artifact replications. If you want to learn how to flintknapp or other primitive technology skills, this is the place to inquire. Drop in today to buy a gift, pick up some educational material, or learn a new skill. A special crafting club for kids is held on the second Saturday of every month at 2 PM. Every Thursday afternoon from 4 PM to dark is an open Knap In. Group Flintknapping Classes are on Tuesdays at 4 PM. The Store is Open Monday - Saturday from 11 AM to 7:30 PM. Closed if at a special event, conference, or street fair.
