All the safety courses in the world don't matter when a drunk gets behind the wheel of a boat or car. There has been death on this river before. Stupidity or Alcahol have both been underlying factors.
The police should be checking web cams from all local sources. If it was me I would have already sunk my boat in the ocean or a deep hole in the bay. Look for oil leakage and
debris on the beach and bay.
There are five deep holes locally that could accomodate a sunken boat.
The PP Canal under the bridges, the hole on the Bay head side of the Canal, the hole off Island Drive up by Windward Beach, and the hole just south of the Mantoloking Bridge. The canal would be my choise because the tides would quickly smash the bost and spread the debris.
