Hesston arboretum receives grant to preserve prairies
The Dyck Arboretum of the Plains in the central-Kansas town of Hesston has received nearly $20,000 to preserve native prairies. The grant from the Environmental Protection Agency will expand an effort to preserve prairie remnants within 60 miles of the arboretum.... read the full story
